What does low flow mean

Low flow rate refers to the amount of liquid the pump can move in a unit of time, generally expressed in liters per minute (l/min) or cubic meters per hour (m³/h). It is important to underline that low flow rate is not necessarily synonymous with low power. Some low-flow pumps can generate high pressures while moving small quantities of liquid.

the advantages of low flow:

Lower water consumption, which in our historical period is becoming of fundamental importance, in fact with a low flow pump you will consume much less than a high flow pressure washer making the work more sustainable.

Greater precision, the low-flow pumps deliver a more concentrated and controllable flow of water, allowing the jet to be directed with greater precision and to act on specific areas with less water waste

Targeted pressure: Despite the lower flow rate, low flow pumps can generate high pressures, concentrated in a narrower jet. This combination of low flow rate and high pressure allows you to remove dirt more effectively, even from delicate or cracked surfaces without damaging the underlying material.

Lower recoil force: Low flow rate results in lower recoil force of the water jet. This aspect is particularly important in contexts where it is necessary to operate on delicate surfaces or in uncomfortable positions, as it reduces the risk of damage or accidents caused by the rebound of the jet. High-flow pumps, with their more powerful flow, generate a greater recoil force, which can require greater physical strength from the operator and increase the risk of damaging the surface being cleaned.
